The Tale of Samjang

The Tale of Samjang summary: In "Journey to the West," Monk Sanzang traveled through time and has now found herself in present-day Korea. Despite a lifetime of battling yokai, her greatest challenge may be just one man. Alongside her companions Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, Sanzang's quest for Buddha's teachings took them to the Western regions. While the others sought to become gods, Sanzang longed for an ordinary human life. Dragged to Heaven but yearning for humanity, Sanzang escaped into a tunnel that led her to the Republic of Korea's Jeju Island. There, she meets Lee Hyun and their tumultuous love story unfolds. The time-slipped Monk Sanzang, also known as Hyeonjeong, meets the tsundere Lee Hyun in a romantic adventure.
