Skip Beat! summary: At the age of 16, Kyouko Mogami made the decision to accompany her childhood friend and romantic interest, Shoutarou "Shou" Fuwa, to Tokyo in order to assist him in attaining his dream of becoming a renowned idol. However, Kyouko's plans to enact revenge on Shou after learning he viewed her only as a maid, were soon derailed when she was declined by her top-choice agency. Fortunately, the agency's CEO extends an offer to join their newly launched "Love Me" division. Kyouko sets out with this opportunity to accomplish her own aspirations of becoming a luminary, refining her acting talents, and forming significant relationships with fresh associates.
