A Condition Called Love summary: Hotaru Hinase, a first-year high school student, prioritizes her family and friends and has no desire for romance. As she and her friend hang out at a café, Hotaru comes upon a handsome honor student named Hananoi undergoing a difficult breakup. Seeing him alone in the snow, Hotaru loans him her umbrella. The next day, Hananoi shows up at Hotaru's classroom and asks her to be his girlfriend.
